Bradley Scott Windows

Description:

Bradley Scott has been installing PVCu windows, doors and conservatories in and around the Tamworth area since 1999. We are a family owned firm and a member of the respected Trust Mark scheme. We are proud of our excellent reputation for quality and customer service. We have recently invested in a brand new window and door system, Twenty four-Seven, which has excellent thermal insulation properties. The new system can achieve up to an A-rating for energy efficiency, when combined with the right type of glass. Andy Farrington, Bradley Scott's Managing Director is proud that the firm can now install A-rated windows and commented as you can save over £180 from your heating bill in the first year alone by fitting A-rated windows, a considerable benefit as we all face rising energy costs. Standard units are manufactured with a highly conductive metal spacer bar between the two panes of glass. This sucks heat from inside directly to the outside, warming up the planet. Swish’s new super spacer bar locks in more heat and reduces condensations by 70% and noise levels by 2db.

Services:

Recently we have been selected to join the prestigious Swish Authorised Installer Network. Swish Homeowners are now required to supply a home information pack which is a compulsory document when selling their property. This pack includes an energy performance certificate so using our A rated window will make homes more attractive to potential purchasers. Mr Farrington also promoted the green credentials of PVCu windows, “many people don’t realise that PVCu windows can be recycled up to 10 times, with each window having a life span of 35 years, that’s 350 years of use, making PVCu windows a truly sustainable building product. We recycle all the PVCu windows we remove and send them direct to a UK factory which recycles them into new PVCu building products.” The Swish windows installed by Bradley Scott utilise this recycled material as Mr Farrington explained ”most PVCu windows are reinforced with aluminium or steel, we use Recycled Composite Material or RCM from Swish which is made from old windows. RCM is not only environmentally friendly but also a much more thermally efficient material than aluminium or steel.”
