By Zach Thomas
The capital awaits Tamworth this Saturday as London based Barnet will host the Lambs at 3pm.
Tamworth will be hoping to start a winning streak, after picking up their first three points of the season on Monday after a 3-2 win over Aldershot Town. Chris Wreh’s first startof the season saw him grab man of the match after an excellent performance which was topped off with a goal, his second in consecutive matches.
The win saw Andy Peaks’ side move onto five points out of a possible fifteen, one point above the relegation zone.
Barnet themselves have had a decent start to the season, as they currently sit in 5th. The Bees managed to pick up three wins on the bounce against Ebbsfleet United, Forest Green Rovers and Southend United before a loss against Maidenhead United on Monday slowed down their winning momentum.
Dean Brennan’s squad includes forward Callum Stead, who has two goals this season. The 23-year-old joined Barnet last season after impressing in the National League North the previous year for Brackley Town, after managing to claim the Managers, Players, and Supporters’ Player of the season award due to scoring 13 goals in which securing Brackley a playoff spot.
We look forward travelling down to Barnet on Saturday and hope to see so many of you supporting us from the stands as we look to gain another three points this season .
