Dempsey Arlott-John has decided to move on from the Lambs after spending last season at the club. He joined after a successful trial period in July, having previously been at Leicester City, Shepshed, Ilkeston and Harborough Town. Dempsey played 29 times for the club scoring 1 goal.
We want to thank Dempsey for his contribution to the success of the team last season and wish him every success for the future at his next club.
Andy Peaks commented, “Dempsey has been great for the club but he has had limited opportunities and wants to move on and develop his career. He fitted in really well at the club and was well liked by the team. He made some good contributions but was limited by injuries towards the back end of the season. I have looked at the situation and his opportunities were probably going to be limited with new players coming in, so he has decided to move on to pastures new where he can get more minutes and build his career. He goes with my best wishes and is always welcome back as he is a great lad and a friendly face to have around.”
There is lots of work going on at the Lamb at the moment with Andy still in discussions with current and new players he wants to bring in. Hopefully we will be able to update fans later in the week with more signings for the new season.
