Instarmac is Pitch Perfect at Tamworth Football Club

World-class manufacturer, Instarmac Group plc, were delighted to donate their time to repair a number of dangerous potholes in the car park of Tamworth Football Club - a club at the heart of the Tamworth community.

Already proud sponsors of Tamworth Football Club, Instarmac were more than happy to provide the asphalt needed to repair the potholes at a discounted rate as well as sending a team of volunteers to carry out a first time permanent repair of all the potholes. The recently promoted Tamworth Football Club, regularly welcome thousands of home and away fans to their grounds. The potholes in the car park had become a hazard, causing difficulties for visitors and coaches as they had to swerve their vehicles to dodge the potholes littering the car park.

The Instarmac team used UltraCrete Tough Patch® cold lay asphalt to complete the repairs resulting in a pothole-free surface for cars and coaches to safely park their vehicles. UltraCrete Tough Patch® is a PTS PAS approved, cold lay surface material for road repairs, which utilises a reactive binder that rapidly cures to create first time, permanent repair that will accept traffic immediately after installation. By utilising Tough Patch®, the amount of time needed for closures and traffic management can be reduced, resulting in a significantly safer working environment for operatives carrying out the work.Quick and easy to apply, Tough Patch® can be used to repair defects in pavements, driveways, car parks and high speed roads – it even provides a first time permanent repair in wheel turning locations such as junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts.
