Tamworth make the short journey to Dales Lane on Saturday to take on Rushall Olympic for the second time in just 4 days. This follows our 2 - 1 victory at the Compare the Build Community Stadium on Tuesday that maintains our joint leadership of the Vanrama National League North with Scunthorpe United on 50 points.

Speaking after the game on Tuesday Manager Andy Peaks told Lambs Media, “It was a tough game and at times we were under a lot of pressure with balls into the box, but overall we played some good stuff if I am honest. I looked at my watch after 25 minutes and wondered how we were losing the game because we created a lot of good chances and even missed a penalty. You even start to wonder if it is going to be one of those days, but we get the equaliser and then perhaps drop off a bit as we move into the half time break. It was a different way of winning today after they broke away and scored so early, however we got the winner in what was a tough, tough game. We know a lot about them and they know a lot about us, so to get the 3 points I am delighted. Good teams find a way to win and this has been evident over the past 2 games. It shows a lot about the camaraderie in the group when you go a goal down and come back to win which is what we have built in the changing room and on the pitch.
