Chris Wreh Joins on Loan

Tamworth are delighted to welcome 27 years old striker Chris Wreh, who signs on an initial one month loan from Hartlepool United. Manager Andy Peaks knows Chris well having managed him at Rushden and Diamonds and knows that he will add some attacking options. ‘Chirs is a goal scorer and he is joining a number of lads he knows well at Tamworth. He did well at Banbury in the year they won the league (23 goals and 16 assists) and with Dan (Creaney) and Alex (Jones) both struggling with injuries he adds strength to an area where we are lacking players. We have a busy Christmas period coming up and we don't want to left short of attacking options,”

Wreh started his career with Aylesbury United before spells at Barton Rovers, Rushden & Diamonds, Newport Pagnell, and Rushall Olympic. After spending time at Banbury his form drew the attention of Southend United before joining Hartlepool at the start of this season.

In the meantime Max Brogan has returned to Solihull Moors at the end of his loan period. “Max is a great lad and we have had a good chat. He will be welcome back at Tamworth as he has bright future in the game. With Ben Milnes and Lindon Meikle now back and available for selection his opportunities are going to be limited. Max joined us when we had a lot of midfielders out injured, but the situation is different now and I can not guarantee him game time at the moment. I wish him all the best back at the Moors and thank him for what he contributed for us."

Michael Gyasi has a further week of his loan period left at the Lamb.
