Lambs Welcome Brackley Town
Sun 19 Nov 2023 - 8:58PM
TRA Tamworth v Brackley Town. Tuesday 21 November. KO 7.45
Vanarama National league North
After the disappointment of the FA Trophy defeat on Saturday we are straight back into action on Tuesday night with the visit of Brackley Town, as the busy November schedule continues.
The Lambs returned to the top of the league last Tuesday evening with the last gasp winner at Bishop’s Stortford.
Games between Brackley and Tamworth have been close affairs in the past. The sides faced each other 8 times in National League North fixtures between 2014 and 2018. Honours were even too - both teams claiming a couple of wins while 4 games ended all square.
The game will probably be special for a couple of players who face their old clubs on Tuesday. Lining up for Tamwworth will be Jordan Cullinane-Liburd who spent almost 3 seasons at The Saints before returning to Tamworth during the summer. In the Brackley line up will be Danny Newton, who was a very popular player at the Lamb between 2015 and 2017 before leaving to join EFL outfit Stevenage.
We are hoping for another good crowd under the lights at the Compare the Build Community Stadium to get behind the lads.
