After the disappointment of losing at Buxton on Tuesday, despite a good performance and luck going against us, we head North to South Shields on Saturday to play the 3rd placed outfit. The full timers, who like the Lambs, won promotion at the end of last season have started the season strongly. They are managed by former Sunderland player Julio Arca.

Manager Andy Peaks will have to assess his injury ravaged squad with Ben Milnes, Lindon Miekle, Dan Creaney and Callum Cocerkill-Mollett all needing to be assessed. However, Jamie Willetts, who was unavailable on Tuesday will be available for selection. Speaking on Wednesday ahead of the game, “I always say that the games will be tough because there is no easy game in this league. However, they are going well, and they have the advantage of being a full-time outfit. We have had them watched but it will be down to us and how we maintain the standards we have set ourselves. It will be hard as we have injuries to some key players that will not be available. But I have been delighted with every player that has pulled a Tamworth shirt on this season and know that whoever is picked will not let the club down.”

• Refreshments: Inside the ground food kiosks accept cash and card payments, but all inside bars are card only payments. The downstairs Club House in the ground is is the only one that accepts cash.
