It’s a Great Weekend for Tamworth FC
We had four of our senior teams playing over the weekend and came out with a 100% record. And we also send our congratulations to all our Junior Boys and Girls teams too, who have pulled on a Tamworth jersey to do the club credit.

Saturday 30 Sept
Coalville Town 0 Tamworth 2
The Lambs progressed to the 4Q Round of the Emirates FA Cup for the first time since we faced Notts County in 2021. It was a great win over a team we have found hard to break down over previous seasons, with late goals from Ben Milnes and Jamie Jellis to crown an important win. The draw for the next round will take place on Talk Sport 2 live at 3.00pm on Monday afternoon. Our away game at Buxton on 14th October will now be rearranged.
Although we didn’t have a league game, eyes and ears were tuned into events at Scunthorpe United where Buxton earned a 3 - 0 win to ensure Tamworth remained top of the league.
Alvechurch Reserves 1 Tamworth Academy Development 8
The young Lambs side picked up another excellent win making it an amazing 17 goals scored in just 2 games! This win took the team up to 3rd in the Midland Football League Reserves Division table.
