Alfreton Town visit the Compare the Build Community Stadium on Saturday as the Lambs look to make it 3 games unbeaten after 2 excellent performances on the road. Our visitors on Saturday have also got off to a good start. After an opening day defeat at Scarborough, they too have won 2 on the bounce with home wins over Southport (3-1) and Peterborough Sports (2-1)

Manager Andy Peaks was in an upbeat mood speaking on Wednesday evening “At Boston, I thought we were excellent. I think we have proved that we can compete with the best in this league. We have kept the ball well, defended well and have looked a threat. Having now played 3 games I have to say I am really pleased with how the lads are playing. In all three games we have shown that we have stepped up a gear in quality, and had things gone our way against Scunthorpe then we could have been sitting top of the league! Alfreton have got off to a good start and I am expecting a tough game on Saturday against a team that is established in this league.”
