Tamworth v Scunthorpe United - Vanarama National League North
Saturday 5 August, Kick off 3.00pm
Our first game back in the Vanarama National League North sees us welcome Scunthorpe United to the Compare the Build Community Stadium. A large crowd is expected for this fixture. We welcome our Sponsors Compare the Build and Laguna Properties and trust they enjoy their day.
Manager Andy Peaks is expecting a tough game. “We have had them watched a few times and they are going to be right up there at the end of the season. I think it is as tough as it could have got for a first game in the new league. They have brought in a few new experienced players and there seems to be a much better vibe around their place since they got relegated. They are focussed on getting straight back up so we are in for a tough game. But we are looking forward to it with a great crowd inside the ground."
