Alex Collard Departs the Lamb

Alex Collard, who has had a fantastic season at Tamworth, has let manager Andy Peaks know that he will be unable to commit to the Lambs next season.

“Alex is leaving for all the right reasons - he is due to become a Dad very soon and together with a promotion in his job, he will be working in London and having to travel abroad more often. “Since signing from Rushden he has been an important player and a highly respected leader, both on the pitch and in the dressing room. “He has let me know early so that I can make plans to replace him. “Alex has been fantastic for the football club, done everything right and he leaves with my blessing.

Alex departs with the best wishes of everybody at TFC and we thank him for the role he played in seeing the Lambs become Champions of the Southern league Premier Central. In his time at the Lamb Alex made 40 appearances and scored 3 goals.

Should his circumstances change he will be most welcome back at the Lamb!
