Andy Peaks Squad Update

On Wednesday evening Andy Peaks provided a squad update.

AJ George has left the club to join North Leigh in the Southern Legaue Premier South. "AJ has been great for us but he has had a stop start season with injuries and is unlikely to break back into the team at the present time. "It is not fair to stop him playing regular football as he has to travel a distance to get here. "He leaves with my blessing but the door is still open for him. and we will review things in the close season."

Ben Hart and Lucas Yeomans will remain out on loan at Barwell and Hednesford. "I am pleased they are getting regular first team games, although Ben has had a slight injury. "Both players can be recalled at any time we need them, so they will be match fit for us if required."

Ben Bailey has returned to training at the Lamb after things at Chasetown did not work out for him.

Alex Collard is almost ready to be in contention for selection but Alex Bradley will unfortuntaley be out for a few more weeks with an ankle injury.
