Important Match Day Information for Supporters Travelling to Hitchin Town

Tamworth travel to Hitchin Town on Saturday and our hosts have advised us of some important information for travelling supporters. Please familiarise yourself with the protocals in place for the game.

• The game is all ticket with no pay on the gate facilities available. This is the policy that Hitchin Town have in place for all home fixtures. Tickets are available via their ticket website, link to this is: https://hitchintownfc.ktckts.com/event/hit2223h18/hitchin-town-v-tamworth

Tickets are available on line right up to kick off time.

• There will be an enhanced security presence outside and in the ground, and in the bar.
• There will be a Police presence before, during and after the game.
• No alcohol will be allowed to be taken into the ground or drunk within sight of the pitch. They will not permit entry to the game to anyone whom they judge to turn up incapacitated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Bag and pat checks at the entry points will be in place if it is suspected that anybody may be trying to take alcohol, flares or any other equipment that could compromise ground safety into the ground. Should such items be found on spectators, items will be confiscated by the Police and they will not be permitted entry to the ground for the game. There will be a female security person present at the entrance.
• Hitchin Town operate a zero tolerance of racism, homophobia or any other behaviour that might be deemed to be disorderly. Any racist or homophobic behaviour will be immediately reported to Kick It Out and the FA and any information of any perpetrators passed on for Kick It Out, FA and Police investigation of the alleged crime.
