The Lambs continue a busy schedule with the visit of Stourbridge on Tuesday evening. The Glassboys didn’t have the best of starts to the season, despite a home 1 – 1 draw with Tamworth back in August at the Memorial Ground. They are currently on a good run of form but this was brought to a halt with a 2 - 1 home defeat at the hands of Basford United on Saturday. .However, they gained a very good goalless draw at Nuneaton Borough the previous week. There are a few familiar faces in the Stourbridge line up including Dexter Walters, Reece Styche, Darryl Knights and Joel Kettle.
Tamworth will be boosted by their 4th successive win on Saturday with the 3 - 1 win over Mickleover and the successful debut of new centre back Jamie Willets, who capped a fine performance with the first goal of the afternoon
We hope it will be another good sized crowd under the lights at the Lamb to back the team in our quest for promotion.
If you can't make the game, then don't forget you can listen live on the Lambs Media Mixlr channel
Follwoing the game on Tuesday evening we are next in action on Saturday 11 Feb, away at Kings Langley (KO 3.00pm). The Supporters Club are running a coach (Dept 10.15), so if you wish to travel please book by contacting Dave Brown at the game on Tuesday evening.
There is a regular train service from Tamworth which you can catch. Although Kings Langley has a station, the closest stop to the ground is Apsley (Change at Milton Keynes). The ground is approx 17 mins walk from the station and the journey from Tamworth is 1hr 40 mins.
