Andy Peaks was still finding it hard for the Hednesford Town result to sink in when we caught up with him on Wednesday evening. "Yes, it still hasn't sunk in yet, but I have said for a few weeks that a team is going to be on the wrong end of a beating. "We have been threatening it, and after the two loses against Coalville and Hungerford, which I felt we did not deserve to lose, it was great to see the goals go in. "Mind you there was a period in the first half where the chances were not going in and they got back into the game. "It was a case of oh not again, but then the floodgates opened and we converted the chances. "To be honest it could have been a much higher scoreline with one of the best players on the pitch being their goalkeeper! "We had a stone wall penalty not given and Collard has hit the bar! "But whether you win 9-1 or 1-0 you still only get 3 points."
It is the start of a busy week and Andy is looking for maximum points. " It is important that we put the pressure on the chasing pack, but we obviously focus on ourselves and it is a great opportunity to add another 9 points to our total. "On the squad front Liam Dolman may be back in contention to reclaim his place on Saturday and Andy will have a better idea at training on Thursday evening. But is Andy looking for any additions to the squad for the final run in? "Yes, I am looking for a couple of bodies to add for the final run in and to add competition for places."
