ISUZU FA Trophy 4th Rownd Draw
Hungerford Town v Tamworth
The Lambs have been drawn to play away at Hungerford Town on Saturday 14 January (K.O3.00 TBC).
While Tamworth reached this stage with a win over National League North outfit Leamington on Saturday, The Crusaders won away at Isthmian League North Division side Heybridge Swifts. The tie was all sqaure at 1 - 1 after 90 mins with Hungerford taking the tie 5 - 3 on penalties.
The Crusaders are members of the National League South and currently occupy the basement position with 12 points from 21 games. The have won 2 of their home games, drawing 2 and losing 6. Their most recent home league game was a 1 - 0 defeat by Tonbridge Angels, watched by a crowd of 330.
Reflecting on the draw Manager Andy Peaks said; "Although we would have preferred to have had a home game, it's a game we will look forward to. "They are from the league above, and although perhaps they are struggling a bit at the moment, it will be a tough game. "If we equip ourselves in the same way as we did against Boston and Leamington, then it is one we will fancy ourselves in. "It will be a good distraction from the league and it will be a great achievement for the club if we can make it through to the last 16 of the competition."
