PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER - TUESDAY 6 DECEMBER
AFC RUSHDEN AND DIAMONDS v TAMWORTH - KO 7.45
Tamworth made it 4 games unbeaten on Saturday, but will be disappointed to have conceded a stoppage time equaliser to managerless Bedford Town on Saturday in the early kick off. Manager Andy Peaks will be pleased to see the impact that substitutes Dan Creaney and Ben MIlnes had off the bench, who both grabbed a goal apiece as Tamworth looked set to claim their first 3 points haul since a 3 - 0 win over Royston Town at the end of October.
However, with results going in their favour the Lambs still a point clear at the summit of the table as we move on to play AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Tuesday evening (KO 7.45). There will late tests on Liam Dolman (injury), TY Deacon (illness) and Abel Alabi (Illness). Unusually it has not been a good season for the Diamonds so far. They are currently looking for a new manager and on Saturday they lost 2 - 0 at home to Alvechurch.
