Back in League Action on Saturday as we welcome Bedford Town

On Saturday 3 December we welcome Bedford Town to the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium at the Lamb. As all Lambs fans will know, it was on a visit to Bedford earlier in the season that we returned with an excellent 8 - 1 victory. We are certain that Bedford will be out for revenge on Saturday with a score to settle! Please remember that kick off on Saturday will be at 12.30 with the USA v Netherlands World Cup tie being shown in the club house at 3.00pm.

Bedford currently lie in 17th place in the league with 21 points from 20 games played. Away from home they have won twice, drawn 4 and lost 5. Last time out they played Bromsgrove Sporting and lost 4 - 3 at home, having led the game 3 - 2 until the final 2 minutes!

Town were managed by former Tamworth player Gary Setchell, but he was relieved of his duties on Thursday

November was a tough month for the Lambs. Despite some good performances on the park, we had some difficult trips to teams who are challenging at the top of the table and it will be good to back at the Lamb and hopefully return to winning ways in the league.
