Liversedge FC v Tamworth KO 3.00pm

We travel to Liversedge on Saturday for a first ever visit to the club based 8m miles NE of Huddersfield. And it will be a break from league action which has seen the team achieve so much success over recent weeks. We hope that our league form will continue into this important ISUZU FA Trophy 1st Round tie.

Liversedge play in the Northern Premier League, the same level as the Lambs.

Andy Peaks will be hoping that some of the injured players may start to show signs of being ready for a return to action. We had 6 players out on Tuesday but everyone that played against Royston Town came through unscathed. “I love this competition as I reached the semi final in it as a player and regretted not getting to Wembley. “We can give it a real good go starting on Saturday and I want to see us progress to the next round and beyond.”

The Lambs will be supported by a good number of travelling fans as the Supporters Coach is definitely running (Departing at 10.30). With crowds increasing, the players and management are delighted with the backing the team is receiving.

• Address: Clayborn Ground, Quaker Lane, Liversedge WF15 8DF. Distance from Lamb 108 miles. Travel time by car approx 2 hours depending on traffic.
• Parking: There is little parking at the ground so supporters should park in Hightown Road but please avoid blocking the driveways.

Tamworth FC Academy Development are at home to Redditch United Reserves at the Lamb on Saturday. The game kicks off at 3.00pm and admission is £3 adults, £1 Concessions, U16s Free. Season Ticket holders Free.
