Football Banning Order Implemented

Tamworth FC would like to thank our fans for the great support we have received so far this season. Behaviour has been good and the players appreciate the vocal backing at the games - home and away.

As a club we fully support the FA Campaign 'Love Football, Protect the Game'. We support the measures put in place that tackle antisocial and criminal behaviours inside football grounds. This includes entering the football pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs, throwing obects onto the pitch as well as discriminatory behaviour and taking drugs.

On Saturday 8 October a person ran onto the pitch at the FA Trophy game away at AFC Rushden and Diamonds. This person has been identified as being from Tamworth and has now received a ban from entering the Lamb ground for any activities - football related or private, from now until the end of the 2023-24 season.

We will not hesitate to implement the FA guidlines as laid out to ensure the safety of everybody - players, management and supporters alike.
