Table topping Tamworth are back at the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium at the Lamb on Saturday with Hitchin Town the visitors. Please remember that we have moved Kick off forward to 2.00pm during the Autumn and Winter months. The reason for this is to try and be sensible with our use of electricity and also save money on the cost of running our floodlights for long periods of time. As you know our new lights can be used at reduced power and brightness for training, but obviously we have to run them at maximum power for games. We thank you for your understanding on this.

We will be remembering and paying tribute to Arthur Frost and Martin Warrillow just before kick off.

Reflecting on the win over Hednesford Town manager Andy Peaks said “We were not at our best on Tuesday and perhaps got away with one. “We only started to look good towards the end of the game. “Hednesford have certainly improved since the start of the season and we rode our luck at times with Jas making some excellent saves. “However, if you can pick up important points when not playing well, then that is a sign of a good team. “I can't fault the effort of my players who are giving everything, with some playing through the pain barrier.”

It is likely that James Hurst, Ben Milnes, Eoin McKeown, Ben Hart and George Cator will still be out on Saturday, but it is hoped that Alex Jones will have recovered from illness.
