Bromsgrove Sporting 0 Tamworth 1
The visit to Bromsgrove was going to be a tough game against 7th placed Sporting. However, the Lambs put on a great performance and with a lot more luck in front of the posts we would have scored more goals in a game that Tamworth controlled for long periods. It could have been so different, however, as the only time Jas Singh was tested was when Bromsgrove were presented with 2 golden scoring opportunites where the Sporting players fluffed their lines and the Lambs goal remained unbeaten, On the other hand the Lambs created a lot of chances and it was left to Kyle Finn to blast the ball home for the second half winner. Andy Peaks was delighted with the performance of the team, hailing it as one of the best team displays of the season. We will bring you a full interview with Andy later in the week.
The Lambs have pulled 3 points clear of the chasing pack following tonight's results which went in our favour. Nuneaton lost at AFC Rushden and Diamonds, while Coalville and Redditch shared a 2 - 2 draw. You can view the up to date league table here
