Bromsogrove are currently in 7th place in the league but went out in the Trophy on Saturday, with a 3 - 0 home defeat at the hands of Chasetown. The last time Tamworth won at the Victoria Ground was in 2003 when Scott Rickards scored both goals in a 2 - 1 FA Cup win against Bromsgrove Rovers.

If it’s goals you want to see then look no further than the rampant Lambs at the moment. The 4 - 0 win at AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday saw Tamworth progress to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Trophy, where we will play NPL outfit Liversedge. The scoreline on Saturday took our total number of goals for the season to 39 from 13 games played - an average of 3 goals per game! Dan Creaney scored another 2 goals taking his total for the season to 16 from 12 games (and 50 from 83 starts), while Kyle Finn and Alex Collard were also on target.

As a consequence of cup competitions our league games away at Needham Market (Sat 15 Oct) and AFC Rushden and Diamonds (Sat 29 Oct) will be rearranged. Needham Market are in FA Cup action next Saturday and the next Round of the FA Trophy is scheduled for Sat 29th October.
