Tamworth welcome Basford United to the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium at the Lamb on Tuesday evening.

The North Nottingham based club have transferred across from the Northern Premier League as part of the reorganisation of Midlands based clubs at level 3 of the National League System. The team are currently sitting in 8th place in the league, just a point behind the Lambs. There are some connections between the two clubs - our former joint Manager, Andrew Danylyszyn, was recently appointed as Basford United’s Lead Development Phase Coach within their full-time Football Educational Academy. However, he remains Head Coach at Nuneaton Borough as well. In addition former Lamb's players Dom Roma, Greg Smith and Anthony Dywer feature as part of the United squad.
