Tamworth v Boldmere St Michaels - Emirates FA Cup 1Q Round

We welcome Northern Premier League Midlands Division outfit Boldmere St Michaelsto the CR MOT Centre Community stadium at the Lamb on Saturday for the 1Q Round tie of the Emirates FA Cup.
Last season Boldmere finished 2nd in the Midland Football League Premier Division and were promoted via the play offs. They have had a good start to the season, currently sitting in 5th place having won 3 of their first 5 games. In the FA Cup, they have beaten Walsall Wood and Sporting Khalsa to reach this stage of the competition.The teams have previously met in the FA Cup in the 1989-90 season, this time it was played at Boldmere with the Lambs winning 3 - 2. The goals were scored by Mark Stanton (2) and Russ Gordon (Att 763). The prize money for this game is £2250 for the winners and £750 for the losing team.
Manager Andy Peaks is looking forward to the game “I love the FA Cup, but it is going to be a tough game for us. ”They are a strong team who have done well over the past couple of seasons. ”For me, the FA Cup is a big competition for the players, the club and myself as it puts everyone in the spotlight. “I have always loved the FA Cup and always want to do well. “There will be no stone left unturned in our preparations, it is a local derby and I want to see us in the draw next Monday.”
Should the game end in a draw, there will be a replay at the home of the Mikes - Church Road, Sutton Coldfield. B73 5RY on Tuesday evening (KO 7.45)

Tickets are available on line and supporters are encouraged to purchase in advance if at all possible. You can get tickets here. Please remember that we do not operate any cash turnstiles at the Lamb, but for those unable to buy online, home and away supporters may purchase a ticket from the ticket office at the ground using cash or card from 1.30pm on match day.
