It’s a short trip to Coleshill Town on Saturday when the Lambs play their penultimate pre-season friendly. The game kicks off at 3.00 at Pack Meadow and we have been informed that admission to the game is £5 with no concessions.

Coleshill play in the same league as Sutton Coldfield Town - The Northern Premier League Midlands Division (Step 4) and despite not playing in the same league, Coleshill and Tamworth are no strangers to each other. We have played each other on a number of occasions over the past few seasons with Coleshill having the upper hand with the following results:

• 2 Oct 2018 (The Lamb) Southern League Cup 1 - 1 and lost 6-5 on penalties
• 2 Dec 2019 (Pack Meadow) B’ham Senior Cup 2 - 2 and won 4 - 2 on penalties

Team News

Alex Bradley has been struggling with injury and illness over the past few weeks but is hoping to be fit for the game, as are Ben Milnes and Eoin McKeown who were missing on Tuesday because of injury. However, the game will come too soon for AJ George who is battling an injury picked up in his day job as a coach at Oxford United. Alex Collard will be missing as he is away on holiday.

Keelan Fallows has gone out on loan to Quorn FC to gain important game time and will be available on immediate call back should he be required to cover for Jas Singh. We wish Keelan every success as he plays in Quorn’s first competitive game of the season on Saturday away at Boston Town.
