Striker Dan Creaney joined the Lambs in the summer of 2019 from Coalville Town and has become one of Tamworth’s most valued players with his 34 goals in 72 appearances (18 last season). However, he has never signed a contract before and Andy Peaks could not have been more pleased as Dan put pen to paper after today’s game against West Bromwich Albion, “I am absolutely delighted with that. “From when I came in he has been top drawer. “He hasn’t signed a contract for us before but we have had some chats since the end of last season and this signing is as good as any I have made. “He brings so much to the club and I think it shows how much he thinks of what we are doing here, that he wants to be part of it and I am sure everyone involved with the club will be excited by this signing. “Dan is a real handful and he enables people to play off him. We now have great competition in the forward positions as we have Ty Deacon who is very similar and the way they both play, they cant play every minute of every game to be as effective as I want them to be. “They can also play as a pair and I also have Eoin as well who is impressing me. "So we now have 3 great centre forwards. "I am delighted to have all 3 and I am sure all 3 of them are going to play their part this season. Dan scored in today's game and he will be sponsored for the season by Team Builder.

Andy announced today that he has released Dexter Walters. “I spoke with Dexter and it wasn't really working out for him here. “Dexter goes with my best wishes, he has been great around the place and I trust that he is able to fix himself up with a new club quickly.” Dexter played 41 games for the Lambs in 2 spells scoring 4 goals in total.

Also leaving the club is Orrin Pendley, who contacted Andy to let him know that he had received an offer from Hereford United where he is able to train full time, and again he leaves with the best wishes of the Manager. “He has an opportunity to play in a more full time capacity at a higher level and he deserves that chance and he too goes with my best wishes for the future.” Orrin joined the Lambs from Rushall Olympic at the start of last season and played 31 games scoring 1 goal.
