Andy Peaks is delighted to capture Ty Deacon who signs from Kettering Town.
TyDeacon is a high scoring striker who Andy worked with at AFC Rushden and Diamonds. He scored a hat full of goals last season and will add fire power alongside Dan Creaney and Eoin McKeown. “I signed Ty in November last season in November when he caught my eye playing for Aylesbury Town. “He scored a pot of goals for them one level lower, and then came in and showed what he could do by scoring 10 goals before moving on to Kettering in the National league North at the same time as I left Diamonds. “He holds the ball up well, is mobile and a good finisher. “He moved to Kettering and wasn’t particularly happy there. “I have had a few chats with him and to be fair he has had quite a few offers, so I am delighted to get him. "It’s great to have some competition in the forward areas which is just what I want. “It also gives me the option to play two up front or have quality available on the bench to change things when I want to.”
Welcome to the club Ty!
