20220305 - Hednesford Town visit on Tuesday 8 March

Tamworth v Hednesford Town, Tuesday 8 March, KO 7.45

Pitching In Southern League Premier Central

On Saturday afternoon Dan Creaney's second half strike ensured Tamworth made it 4 games without defeat as they grabbed a hard earned win over Bromsgrove Sporting. It was a tough game against a physical outfit, but Manager Andy Peaks, who selected the same starting Xl and subs bench for the 3rd game running, continued his undefeated start to his Lambs career with 2 wins and 1 draw.

Hednesford Town visit for the rearranged Staffs derby on Tuesday evening (KO 7.45). The game was due to be played on New Year's Day until the Lambs squad was ravaged by Covid. Tamworth will be looking to continue their upturn in form over a Pitmen side that slipped to a home defeat at the hands of Stratford Town on Saturday. They sit just one point ahead of the Lambs in the table, having played one game less. A win on the evening will see Tamworth continue in their target to cement their place in the league for next season.

With a large crowd expected and the game segregated, we do encourage supporters to purchase their tickets in advance of the game to ensure a speedy entrance into the ground. It is a very easy process - just show the QR code (sent by email to your mobile device) to the turnstile operator. If you can't purchase in advance, then the ticket office at the ground is open from 6.15pm, but be prepared for queues. Tickets can be purchased here Please note that there are NO cash turnstiles.
