After the disappointment of the late postponement at Leiston on Saturday, Andy Peaks will turn his attention to the visit of Barwell on Saturday to experience his first game in the home dugout in charge of Tamworth. He will have had the advantage of a further two training sessions to get to know his players as he plots a course to gain 3 important points in the quest for league safety. Andy also knows Barwell well having led AFC Rushden and Diamonds to a 2 - 1 victory over the Leicestershire outfit on 12 February.
The Lambs and Barwell have already faced each other this season when Tyrell Waite’s late strike sealed the points for the Lambs on 6 November. Since then fortunes have changed with our visitors picking up points to sit in 12th place with 34 points, while Tamworth have dropped down the table.
Incidently this will be Barwell's first away game since early Novemeber becasue before then all their games were played away until their 3G pitch was ready for use when Tamworth visited them.
Tickets for the game are available online now, and we are looking for a good turn out to welcome Andy to the Lamb and get behind the lads after the encouraging performance against Alvechurch in our last home game. Tickets will also be available from the ticket office at the ground (payable by cash or card) available from 1.30pm before the game on Saturday
Car Parking at the ground is £2.00 payable by cash, and all refreshment outlets and the clubhouse take cash and card payments.
For those unable to attend the game, then do tune into our live coverage on Mixlr or catch up with social media updates brought to you by Lambs Media.
