Back the Lambs on Saturday

We welcome Alvechurch to the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium at the Lamb on Saturday for a Pitching In Southern League Premier Central fixture. This is the third time the clubs will have faced each other this season. Back in September the Church visited the Lamb for an FA Cup fixture which Tamworth ran out as 3 - 1 winners. Tamworth visited Lye Meadow for a league game in December and Alvechurch gained the upper hand on this occasion with a 2 - 1 win.

The Church are not in the best of form themselves, and over the past 10 games find themselves along with Tamworth, Peterborough Sports and Biggleswade Town in the bottom 4 of the form table. Ian Long’s team will want to pick up the points to remain in the play off positions, while Tamworth, under the temporary stewardship of Scott Rickards and Robbie Banks, will want nothing but 3 points to start climbing up the league table. One player who will not be involved is Ahmed Obeng who has chosen to leave the club after a short stay,

We need a great backing on Saturday to get behind Scott, Robbie and the players and tickets are available from our online ticketing system or from 1.30pm at the ticket office on Saturday if you wish to pay with car or cash.
