The Lambs fell to a disappointing 1 - 0 defeat at Stratford Town on Saturday where Dan Bradley and James Hurst made their league debuts. Charlie Shaw has signed on dual registration terms with Midland Football League outfit Lichfield City in order to get some game time. The 24 years old midfielder joined the Lambs in the 2017-18 season after he had been released by Mansfield Town, and initially signed for the Tamworth U21 side. Charlie made his first team debut away at Brackley in Sept 2017 and has gone on to make 38 appearances scoring 1 goal. We wish Charlie every success at Lichfield, where he made his debut yesterday in a 4 - 1 home defeat to Stourport Swifts. He joins former Lambs players Chandler Pegg and Kyle Patterson at City, who are currently second in the MFL Premier Divisions, and we look forward to seeing him back at the Lamb.
Ben Bailey signed for the Lambs on Friday after leaving Hednesford Town. The 30 years old central defender, who is the Pitmens leading appearance holder, played over 400 games for Hednesford since he first signed for them in 2013. He did leave to have spells at Newtown in the Welsh Premier League and AFC Telford, before rejoining Hednesford in 2018. Ben was an unused substitute at Stratford Town yesterday and we wish him every success with the Lambs.
Lambs Birthdays. We send our best wishes to Jack Concannon who celebrates his birthday on Wednesday, and also to Lucas Yeomans who has his birthday on Friday.
