20220106 - Walk In Vaccination Centre Closes on Friday 7 January

Tamworth FC is partnering with the NHS to support the Covid 19 Vaccination rollout. Since Tuesday 21st December the Clubhouse at the CR MOT Community Stadium at the Lamb has been used as a ‘walk in’ centre for people to turn up to receive their 1st, 2nd or Booster (all Pfizer) Covid 19 vaccinations. Bookings are not be required - just turn up to get your jab! Anybody over the age of 16 is welcome.

We have received many positive reports about how well the centre is being run and the care being offered, especially for those who are a little nervous of needles. This comment from Donna was received after a visit at the start of January..........

Hi. We had our boosters today, which was traumatic for me at Tamworth Football Club, the military guys there and the reception man, were all amazing, very caring and understanding. If you have issues with needles, I'd recommend going there. Can't thank them enough for their time and great efforts. The main guy really went out of his way to spend time with me, reassuring me and generally making me feel at ease. I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart, we are truly blessed to have guys like them, looking after us and our country.

The ground has easy and free parking for people to use. Please note that free parking for vaccinations is at the far end of the car park, which is closest to the clubhouse. The Car Park is also used by Snowdome customers.

Please Note: The final day the vaccination centre is open at the Lamb is Friday 7 Jan from 9.00am - 6.00pm
