We welcome Royston Town to the CRMOT Centre Community Stadium at the Lamb on Saturday and Manager Gary Smith will be hoping he can name more than than the 11 players he was left with last week after Covid, injuries and illness decimated the squad.
Several members of the team will be having late fitness tests and those with Covid will be hoping their day 6 and 7 tests will clear them for selection. If Ryan Beswick is selected for the game on Saturday, then he will celebrate his 100th appearance for the club, scoring 24 goals in the process. We congratulate Ryan for reaching this landmark.
Tom Baillie said in his interview last week that they are looking to get some quick wins under their belts to get back into contention for the play offs, and they don’t come quicker or tougher than back to back home games against Royston Town and Peterborough Sports just 3 days later, with a visit to Coalville Town next Saturday!
Royston was the destination for our first game of the season which ended in a 3 - 0 home win for the Crows. An even first half saw the teams go in all square at the break, but the home side got the upper hand in the second half to grab all 3 points. The Crows currently sit in 7th place on 35 points, which is 10 points ahead of the Lambs but have played 5 games more. Last Saturday saw them claim a 2 - 1 away win at Biggleswade Town.
Tickets for the game are on sale here and there is a ticket office at the ground for those wishing to use cash or card. The ticket office is situated on the car park next to the club shop and is open from 1.30pm on match day.
Car parking at the ground is £2
Programmes are published on line of the day of the game and free of charge to dowbnload.
