Tom Baillie looks forward to the Hednesford Town Game
Head of Football Tom Baillie spoke to Lambs Media ahead of training on Thursday night and he is looking forward to the game against Hednesford. “Gary and I will have the squad in tonight and what is important to us is that we get a smile back on the players faces. “They are putting in the effort, but we need to get the best out of them. “It is important that we restore the belief they had up to the Notts County game. “Man for man we have a great squad and if we can go on a good run and get a good run of wins very quickly we can aim for the playoffs. “I think we have worried far too much about the opposition rather than looking at our own strengths. “We have forgotten about our own identity. “We respect the other teams in the league who have good players, however this is now about us. If we have belief in our own players and team, we can beat anybody in this league - it is what we can collectively achieve.”
On the player front there may be a couple of new signings in the team for Saturday and Tom is hopeful that those players with injuries will come through their fitness tests OK. Aaron Forde, who limped off on Monday, should be available for selection.
