Fri 17 Dec 2021 - 5:24PM

We are delighted welcome Bial Yafai, who has this afternoon signed for the Lambs.

Bilal enjoyed a successful spell at the Lamb from July 2019 until he left when lockdown struck for a second time. His playing stats for Tamworth are Played 41 and scoring 6 goals. Bilal is available for our game at Hitchin Town on Saturday.

Bilal started his career with Solihull Moors, playing for the club's academy side before joining Chasetown in October 2013, where he spent time playing for the academy and youth teams.

He then came to prominence when he signed for Hereford United ahead of the 2014-15 season, a number of impressive performances even drew the attentions of Cardiff City and Birmingham City, where he spent periods on trial with both. Following the demise and subsequent folding of Hereford United in December 2014, Bilal signed for Leamington for the remainder of the season.

His next move was to Nuneaton Town in the summer of 2015, but then moved to Rushall Olympic before he was on his travels again to Bedford Town, and teaming up with his former Hereford United manager Jon Taylor. Yafai had a loan spell with Hinckley in February 2016, before a return to Rushall Olympic in March 2016.

Bilal spent time playing for Haverhill Rovers and, then joined Stourbridge on 18 January 2019, making six appearances for the club during the latter part of the 2018-19 season.

He was confirmed as a Tamworth player in July 2019.
