Tamworth progressed to the quarter finals of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a 3 - 0 win away at Lye Town. The conditions were not conducive to ​good football, but the Lambs overcame a determined home outfit to record a comfortable win. Goals from the returning Charlie Shaw and Aaron Ford gave Tamworth a 2 - 0 lead at the break and substitute Tyrell Waite wrapped up matters in the 90th minute.
