Tamworth are aiming to bounce back following the disappointing defeat away at Royston Town on Saturday in the opening game of the league campaign. Following the game Joint Manager Gary Smith said "The league is not won or lost on the first result of the season, however, we will regroup and look to rectify this on Tuesday so that we don't see the performance that we saw in the second half today."

On the other hand it was a good day for Coaville Town as they kicked of their season with a 3 - 1 victory over Stratford Town and they will be looking to maintain their solid start. The Lambs and Ravens have faced each other 6 times in a variety of cup and league fixtures, with Coalville having the upper hand with 3 wins while Tamworth have 2.
