It was great to welcome football back home to the Lamb on Saturday afternoon as a mixture of new signings, youth and and trialists took to the field to take on Bedworth United. The visitors headed into the half time break with the adavantage, but a late equaliser from one of the trialists ensured Tamworth kicked off the pre-season campaign with a draw. Missing from today's line up were Singh, Wilder, McDonald, Beswick, Taylor, Forde, Cox, Howkins and Walters as the management team took the opportunity to run their eyes over a number of trialists and youth team players.
