Team Builder Play their Part in Signing of Hart

Since the formation of Team Builder initiative ten years ago, which was started by Andy Farrington and former manager Marcus Law, supporters of Tamworth FC have raised many thousands of pounds which have directly supported managers of the first team to sign players that the club may not have had the funds for. The scheme has continued to run successfully under the stewardship of a committee of great club servants - Brian Whitehouse, Clive Tomlinson, Dave Gould, Andrew Turland and Teresa Whitehouse, whom the club are indebted to. In particular supporters have continued to make regular donations throughout the pandemic and this is an amazing gesture by the fans for which the Directors and Management of the club are very grateful.

Over the years players such as James Belshaw, Nathaniel Rowe-Turner. Rhys Hoenes, Elliott Durrell and Chris Lait have been supported by the generous donations of fans committed to the Team Builder fund.

This season Team Builder are delighted to announce that new signing Ben Hart is being supported by Team Builder directly. Ben was released by Burton Albion at the start of May and with some solid performance in the Tamworth Shirt while on loan the management team were keen to snap him up.

Team Builder is a great way to support Gary, Andrew and Tom in their quest to sign the best players for the club and help them in our number one target of promotion to the National League, back where we belong. You can help in a number of ways

1. By making a regular payment by standing order to the Team Builder Bank Account.

2. Making a one off donation

3. Contributing to the various bucket collections that are held at the end of a range of matches during the season.

Please note that all monies are paid into a separate account from Tamworth FC and are overseen by a committee of five members who will have the final decision on the release of money.
