We are delighted that talented left back Henri Wilder has signed on for the new season. Ever since he played in his first pre-season friendly at Sutton Coldfield Town in 2019, his impressive performances in the Lambs back four have made him a fans favourite
Henri began his career at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he played in the club's youth setup for five years. He was spotted by former Tamworth favourite Scott Rickards, who took him to Mansfield Town. Henri became a regular member of their Under 18s, and won the title in the 2017-18 season, where he was managed by another former Tamworth player in John Dempster.
Wilder was promoted to the first team for the 2018-19 season by Stags manager David Flitcroft, but with his contract due to expire at the end of that season, factored with the dismissal of David Flitcroft, Henri was released by Mansfield.
Henri put pen to paper for the Lambs on 3 August 2019 and has gone on to make 43 appearances scoring 3 goals, a memorable hat trick against Solihull Moors in the B'ham Senior Cup just before lockdown caused the 2019-20 season to be declared null and void.
Welcome back Henri!
