Matt signed for The Lambs from Buxton in the summer of 2022 having previously also been with Chasetown, Sutton Coldfield Town, Rugby Town and Hednesford Town. It is his second spell with Tamworth having first been with the club in the 2017-18 season helping and he was almost ever present at right back as he helped The Lambs to promotion before re-signing for 2023-24.
