2-0
Tamworth
At a wet and windy Deva Stadium, The Lambs could have gone back to the top of the Vanarama National North had they picked up 3 points against the home side, but a well taken half volley by Whitehouse from 20 yards after 11 gave the home side the lead after a ball from the right wing found him in space. (1-0, 11 mins)
The Lambs nearly drew level on 13 when Acquaye won ball on left and Finn connected sliding in at the far post but watched in agony as it rolled past the upright.
Then on 17 Tonks unleashed a right footed shot from 25 yards which curled past Stanway in the home goal but struck the right hand post face on and was cleared.
Chances were hard to come by for both sides in the remainer of the half and as the second half continued until substitute Windsor, making his debut for Chester, sprinted onto a long through ball and got the best of the Lambs defence before slotting past Singh to win it for Chester. (2-0, 63 mins)
