Tamworth FC
Tamworth's U21 bosses Gareth Zimmerman and Gary Smith took a young squad to Wellbeing Park and returned with a 5-1 victory over a home side that had not been performing well of late.
The Dominoes play in the North West Counties Division One South and entered the game on a losing run of 8 straight games, having scored 4 and conceded 30.
That's not to take anything away from the largely U21 side's performance though, which saw five players make their first team debut, and The Lambs sprung came out of the blocks quickly.
Jordan Clement opened the scoring in the second minute, finishing Dunkely's fumbled shot from close range.
He made it 2-0 on 14 with a rising shot from the left of the box that beat the keeper hands down.
Tyrone Ofori made it 3-0 on 59 with a low finish from a Dunkley ball into the area but a slip at the back allowed the home side no. 12 nip past Townrow on 62 to reduce the arrears. (3-1)
Kyel Hayden finished a Wright ball into the box from the left, at the far post on 74 to restore the advantage (4-1) and following a foul on Pegg which earned the Stone Dominoe's Johnson a red card Wright's freekick from 20 yards flew, low, into the back of the net to make it 5-1 at the final whistle.
