18 Year old Goalkeeper Louis Connor has been signed on non contract forms and has been given the number 21 shirt. Connor has trained with the First Team squad after impressive displays with Tamworth Academy where he is a 'guest' player. The College side are allowed to register two players who are not on a college course. Louis will travel with the team to Mansfield on Saturday to gain further First Team experience and will also be on hand as cover for Ross Atkins On the day that the 21 shirt was allocated the number 16 shirt became available as Aaron Farrells registration with The Football Conference was cancelled. |

After the call up by England C for Michael Wylde and Alex Rodman into the contingency squad for the game against Wales under 23's the club has now been informed by The FA of Wales that Scott Barrow has been called up team manager Terry Boyle for the game at Newtown FC on Tuesday 14th September. If Michael and Alex get the call to join the full squad manager Gary Mills will have a few selection problems for the match against Birmingham City. The game will give squad members a full game and a few of the Academy's rising stars will be given the opportunity to show their talents if selected. |

This Saturday, Tamworth travel to Field Mill home of Mansfield Town on the back of 4 out of 6 Bank Holiday weekend points.
One player who will not be making the trip though is Aaron Farrell who has been released, and although his time at TFC was short (2 sub appearances) we'd like to wish him all the best in the future. |
